Runner’s high

I’ve jogged sporadically for a few weeks, but today was the first time I had an urge to go out running. I hadn’t planned to do it, but went out anyway.

When I’m running, people in nearby pubs often crack jokes at me. I’m having fun running and they’re having fun boozing. We’re both feeling OK. It’s almost as if we had a conspiracy of some kind.

Today when I ran past a pub someone standing outside told me a liquor store is in another direction. I thanked him and actually turned to the direction he was pointing at.
